A-frame Towing
Motorhome A-Frame Towing
Unmanned A-frame flat towing rules and regulations differ from state to state. In Western Australia, your motorhome has to follow the 3.5:1 rule. This rule states that your car or truck must have a mass that is 3.5 times the tare weight of your car to the motorhome. For example, if your towed vehicle has a tare weight of 1000 kilograms, your motorhome must have a tare weight of 3500 kilograms or greater (your motorhome’s tare weight is the empty weight).
In order to unmanned flat tow, you will have to submit an (E182 A-frame towing application) to the Department of Transport (DoT) tps@transport.wa.gov.au or contact us sales@allcams.com.au.
